Plan on making a trip to LA soon and want to know of some good cafes? I got you covered! Here are 6 cafe options for you. (Not listed in any order!)
Let's start with the basic girl cafe, for all you Instagram lovers out there! I'm sure some of you already know which one this is slash have probably been here a couple times.
1. But yes, I'm talking about Alfred coffee. (Multiple locations in LA).
Even though this might be one of the most popular coffee shops in LA, you can't really go wrong. The coffee is great and the picture opportunities are even better! I love getting their matcha tea and adding some sweetener to it. I love my tea, coffee, or just about any drink to be extra sweet.
Location: 529 W 6th St, Los Angeles, CA 90014
Alright this place is seriously something special. Not only is the food and coffee incredible but the owners are just the nicest people ever, always making you feel more than welcome. Every time I go, I order their Chicken Bisou and am never disappointed. I get tempted to try the crepes, I mean their name is Crepe Xpress. But I never do because I just love this specific panini too much to order anything else. Dan has tried their crepes and these are his exact words, "They are damn bomb. So much Nutella." LOL. Their coffee is delicious and is always served with a small cookie. It's the little details like that, that make me love this little spot. Be aware, this place does close at 3:30pm, so be sure to get there before then!
3. LA Cafe
Location: 639 S Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90014
For all my foodies out there, this is a great spot for you. They have an incredibly good menu and their smoothies are to die for! If you love all things chocolate, I highly recommend their chocolate monkey smoothie. Click here to check out their menu options.
4. WKNDR Cafe
Location: 1820 N Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, California 90027
This place is just all around cool af. I mean they have algae bowls and CBD tea!! How freaking cool is that? I know algae doesn't seem like something you should eat but I personally had this bowl and loved it. If you like acai bowls, you will probably enjoy these too. And who doesn't love CBD in their tea???? I mean come on, relax a little :P
Location: 2110 W. Sunset Blvd, Suite N Los Angeles, CA 90026
This cafe has some serious decor goals. Dan and I drove past it one day and I made him write down the location because I just had to check it out. And I am so glad I did. Not only is it just the cutest but the food and coffee were to die for. Their avocado toast was one of the best I've had recently and, OMG their mexican mocha, ugh I can't even. It was so damn good! I'll definitely be hitting this spot up again soon.
Location: 534 N Hoover St, Los Angeles, CA 90026
If you follow me on Instagram, you will see me post this coffee shop regularly. I never tag the location and I was honestly debating putting it on this list. Not because it doesn't deserve to be on it, but because it's just so damn awesome I kind of wanted to keep it to myself. This place is something unique and rare and I absolutely LOVE it!! It's is my go to coffee spot in LA. I love going here to grab a coffee and get some work done or even write a blog post. Oh yeah, you can add CBD to any coffee or tea of your choice, which is another obvious perk of this cool place. I will say this though, it is more of a coffee only spot. They do offer some pastries but I like to just get a coffee because the neighborhood birds love going after your food. So if you ever need a spot to just chill or get some shit done, I HIGHLY recommend this spot!
If you know of any great cafes in LA please let me know! I love trying new places :)
